Senior / Junior Software Engineer (Job Code : Senior Software Engineer- EME0018 / Software Engineer EME0013)

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year (3+ years for senior position) experience in PHP based application development together with ZEND or Laravel framework
• Hands on experience in MySQL, PostgreSQL databases related system development and ability to write efficient queries
• Experience in developing web services and integrating third-party APIs
• Understanding of and a preferable working background with REST/SOAP/JSON
• Knowledge of Python, Node.js, CSS, Ajax, JavaScripts, jQuery and other web technologies will be an added advantage
• Experience in CMS systems such as Drupal will be a definite advantage
• A degree in Software Engineering / Computer Science or equivalent qualifications
• Good communication skills are a must

Responsibilities

• Requirement gathering, planning and designing solutions considering scalability and performance
• Designing and developing commercial software and system modification from supplied specifications
• Refactoring, optimizing and improving existing software solutions for maintenance and scale
• Working with and integrating solutions with AWS platform
